About
By Me Poetry was founded by Susan Llewelyn in September 2016 on Instagram. Susan wanted to share her poetry with other writers but quickly discovered that the best part of being on the internet was sharing ideas, thoughts and connecting with other poets around the world. Creating a poetry hub and getting other poets, writers and artists on board seemed like a logical and necessary step and Bymepoetry.com was launched.
By Me Poetry now draws on the energy, experience, enthusiasm and passion of seven individuals Amina, Gabi, Nabeel, Kwinnie, Shanelle, Salman, Damini and Susan, from five continents across the world! Our aim is to create a dynamic, interactive, supportive and inspirational hub for all to enjoy. Want to be inspired? Jump over to meet them all on the Editors Page.

What we do
Each week we feature new poets and their work on our Home page to give you a slice of life from writers across the globe. We also will have ongoing featured articles, news, tips and posts on The Bymepoetry Blog to help you get the creative juices flowing. The Bymepoetry editorial team will have their ears to the ground, pencils poised and phones at the ready to bring you the poetry lowdown. But as we are a community organisation we can't do it all ourselves so we also need you to submit your work so that we can give the poets of the world some awesome content. So please stop by our Submissions Page and submit your work today!
Be on the lookout for our weekly challenges and prepare to have your mind teased. Share your thoughts, ideas, work in progress, writing dilemmas and all things poetical on our Forum Page. And don't to visit our other platforms, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for some happy snaps, quizzical insights and hot goss!
