Hello poetry lovers my name is Susan Llewelyn from Melbourne Australia and I am the founder and Managing Editor of By Me Poetry. I started writing poetry when I was 14 after my mother passed away as an outlet for my feelings and a way to get in touch with who I am. I majored in English Literature at University and followed that up with post graduate studies in professional and creative writing. I have been published in literary journals and also in magazines. I have picked up writing poetry again recently and posting it on the @bymepoetry Instagram page which has satisfied my need to get my work out there, but more importantly, given me the greatest joy of meeting other writers, reading their work and connecting with people all over the world.
Hello l am Amina Bhatti, a cynical optimist, currently in my final year of medical school in Nottingham, England, where I have been moderately trained to subdue crises of both a clinical and an existential nature. I choose to explore the world through a mixture of honest conversation, subjective literature and with disproportionate levels of wry bemusement. My true passion lies in seeking and submerging into the minds and lives of ordinary people; poetry is just my cover story.
Hi! I go by the name of Kwinnie Le and I'm an artist born and raised in the Netherlands. My aim in the field of art is to create an experience for the viewer. As I realised every room or space affects your feelings, my environment became a medium. I started creating poetic installations that touch upon life's vulnerability, giving the audience a bittersweet experience which I also tend to put into words. My love for poetry grew immensely as it had a major impact on me. I strongly believe in the power of words and that's why I'm here.

I began writing poetry during my teenage years, taking a 'break' while raising a family and remembering how much I love it now they are growing up. My influences mostly stem from my personal battles with mental illness and of course all the experiences that come with love and loss; from my own life past and present and conversations with those around me. I am absolutely passionate about the amazing artists in our community and discovering emerging artists also.
